● A GROUNDED TASTE OF CULTURE ●
Sikelela Dibela saw the power coffee had to bring people together, and that’s exactly what he did. His first coffee shop, Siki’s Koffee Kafe in Khayelitsha, is an active social hub for entrepreneurs, creatives and coffee lovers in the heart of the neighbourhood. The Kafe is situated inside his mother’s garage, introducing high-quality African coffee to the township of Khayelitsha, and now to the locals in Claremont too!
Siki’s coffee is a well-balanced combination of beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Burundi, highlighting a strong African coffee ethos.

● The backstory ●
Siki has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. His journey with coffee began at Vida E, where he started off as a dishwasher, before moving up to the position of barista and eventually taking on a store manager position.
His passion, commitment, and dedication to deliver memorable customer experiences saw him relocated to London to open a Vida E store and train staff on how to make the best coffee. It was while he was there that he realised that he wanted to be more than just a barista, that he wanted to own his own business.
Siki now runs a few coffee spaces and his own roastery, and has dreams of bringing together even more people from different walks of life to connect over a cup of locally roasted and freshly brewed coffee.
● Happy customers make us happy ●
This place is a gem and Sikelela is a hero for having started this place! The brownie was chocolate rich and moist, the coffee made with cape and love. Definitely worth a visit if you want to meet local coffee culture
Great coffee and even better host. This concept is cool and allows for an awesome meeting spot for local entrepreneurs. Join a cycling/walking tour of the area to take full advantage of what Khayelitsha has to offer.
Cool spot to hang out to and great meeting spot if you’re having a business meeting with a client. Great ground coffee indeed!
